Patient Care Co-ordinators (Receptionists)

Essential to the running of the Practice, we currently have opportunities for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to work within our busy Reception team. The role involves face to face and telephone contact with patients at Reception desks and in our inbound call centre. This is a challenging but rewarding role, suitable for a team player who works well under pressure. Post holders will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in what can be a rapidly changing environment.

In 2023, we changed the way in which we deliver care to support and protect our staff by implementing a new process that enabled staff to better meet the needs of our patients and reduce potential conflict. You could be an important part of this exciting change, and help thousands of local residents access healthcare in a more efficient way.

Working as part of our Patient Care Co-ordinator Team, you will be involved in all reception duties including appointment bookings, answering queries, handling confidential correspondence as well as assisting our team of GPs.

Whilst previous GP Practice experience would be beneficial, the role would suit anyone with previous customer service / call centre experience who is interested in a move to Primary Care as full training will be provided. Excellent customer service skills are essential.
