Management Assistant
Hanham Health is undergoing a significant review of its structure and operations, with a view to evolving and improving to meet the changing needs of our patients and our staff in the modern NHS.
To support this evolution, we need an exceptional candidate to provide wide ranging administrative support to all areas of Management of the organisation. Primary responsibilities include administration relating to maintenance and facilities work, procurement, HR, policy and governance, and patient feedback, communications and engagement. The role would suit someone who enjoys variety and dealing with different challenges every day and who can manage their time effectively between competing demands.
Working in a GP Practice can be challenging with staff often working under pressure, so the successful candidate will need good emotional intelligence skills to support different teams and individuals in different ways. Excellent organisation and communication skills are also essential.
Experience of working in General Practice and/or providing administrative support to Managers and teams would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. A CIPD qualification and/or experience of working with maintenance and facilities management would also be desirable, but training and support will be given for the right candidate.

GP / ANP / Paramedic opportunities
Hanham Health is seeking to recruit a variety of clinical roles to support its services and an exciting new access model for 2023.
With demands on General Practice being greater than ever, Hanham Health are evolving and are looking to implement a new system which puts staff welfare at the centre of this by implementing the BMA Safe Working in General Practice guidance as part of the new model.
We are keen to hear from General Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Paramedics who are looking for rewarding roles in General Practice on a full or part-time basis. As well as routine General Practice, we can offer the opportunity to work in research, minor surgery and vasectomy work, and also secure health and military environments. We are also keen to develop new work programs based on areas of interest that candidates may bring which support the Practice.
We are a 9 partner, 28,000 patient practice operating across 3 sites in Hanham, Oldland and Almondsbury, on the eastern edge of Bristol, with opportunites to work at any of these sites. We offer competitive salaries and bespoke training leading to recognised qualifications where appropriate.

Patient Care Co-ordinators
Essential to the running of the Practice, we currently have opportunities for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to work within our busy Reception team. The role involves face to face and telephone contact with patients at Reception desks and in our inbound call centre. This is a challenging but rewarding role, suitable for a team player who works well under pressure. Post holders will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in what can be a rapidly changing environment.
In 2023, we will be changing the way in which we deliver care to support and protect our staff by implementing a new process that enables staff to better meet the needs of our patients and reduces potential conflict. You could be an important part of this exciting change, and help thousands of local residents access healthcare in a more efficient way.
Working as part of our Patient Care Co-ordinator Team, you will be involved in all reception duties including appointment bookings, answering queries, handling confidential correspondence as well as assisting our team of GPs.
Whilst previous GP Practice experience would be beneficial, the role would suit anyone with previous customer service / call centre experience who is interested in a move to Primary Care as full training will be provided. Excellent customer service skills are essential.
Working Monday - Friday, a variety of part - time hours / shifts are available across both our Hanham and Oldland surgeries.
