How to Request a Home Visit
Home visits are for patients that are strictly housebound, and for those who are considered clinically too unwell to come to the surgery.
This is because 3 – 4 patients can be seen at the surgery in the time it takes to complete 1 home visit.
Home visits are offered at the discretion of the clinician who will wish to speak to you before they agree to visit. Capacity will also be a contributing factor on our ability to offer a home visit and we may not always be able to facilitate a request. Appropriate signposting advice will be provided if this is the case.
Our Patient Care Co-ordinators will take some brief details in order for a clinician to assess the urgency of each case. You may be visited by a GP, Paramedic or Nurse Practitioner.
Please telephone before 11:00 if you wish to request a home visit.
